Pluck RSS Reader

~ 30th June 2004. · 15:34 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Pluck Screen ShotWe all know how IE is a bad browser, but we’ll have no use of great technologies such as RSS, whitout offering to average visitors at least free piece of software, like Pluck. Works with IE 6.0 only, but it’s better than nothing. Not the best of a kind, but certainly a good start.

Summer Plans Part One

~ 30th June 2004. · 15:18 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

I’m currently preparing for my summer holidays. Have to work a few more days as an aerobics instructor (you didn’t know I’m fitness trainer, didn’t you?) and after that i’ll be all the web-guy.

These days a portal about beauty, nutrition and fitness (Let’s say ‘the beauty portal’ – i’ll keep the real name confidential ’till launching) is under heavy finishing work. I’m going to be ‘a chief of my column’ and right after publishing this post some articles should be prepared for the Opening day. In a next few weeks i’ve planned to finish some usable (Java)scripts, which of course will be under GPL. Suggestions are welcome – tell me if you’d like to see some particular functionality. Submitions will be accepted ’till next Wednesday.

Wicked Worn Jedis

~ 16th June 2004. · 16:13 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Who-hoo! Became Worn Jedi paduan under Master Worn Jedi Cameron Moll along with my fellow paduan Megalithic, which he also mentioned very calmly and with self-control. His experiment this recognition refers to, can be found at his website. Mine is a few posts under.

Talent compliments and waving back, Seth!

Went through some old notes, and added the most interesting parts to archives. Hint: right column > ARCHIVES : )

Article about practical accessibility (Croatian)

~ 11th June 2004. · 23:41 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Wrote yet another article at Webmajstori.Net. This time it’s about implementation of tabindex and accesskey attributes and basic accessibility.

Osnove pristupaćnosti

Objavljen je još jedan moj članak na Webmajstori.Net, ovaj put o praktičnoj upotrebi tabindex i accesskey atributa i općenito o pristupaćnosti.

maratz.com on Css Beauty!

~ 8th June 2004. · 09:43 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Css Beauty became an important CSS design showcase, so I’ve submitted maratz.com to it. Thanks to Hector, the guy who runs the whole thing, for recognition.

Some people had some problems viewing site in Safari 1.2.2. Unfortunately, don’t have Mac to test on it. This morning iCapture returned me a screenshot which shows the site appears as I wanted to, but if there is someone willing to be bothered testing it on its’ Mac, please get in touch. Any help/suggestion is welcome.

Site’s getting old?

~ 7th June 2004. · 18:01 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Following Cameron Moll’s mini tutorial, I’ve come to this new oldish look.

Some details

These are only temporary, probably we’re getting back next week, so for Internet Explorer users a few screenshots were taken (IE doesn’t supports PNG alpha transparency):

oldish detail oldish detail oldish detail oldish detail

Tell me if you like it, tell me if you hate it…

Noteworthy at CSS Vault!

~ 6th June 2004. · 23:30 CET · permanent link · printer friendly ~

Today this site has been noteworthy at CSS Vault, the great CSS resource. Thanks to Scrivs for lettin’ me in.

I’ve been unlucky to submit right after some great designs, like Neubix and I heart you (both made by Ryan Sims). Considering this, I should be more than satisfied. After all, as Scrivs said, “the stakes have been raised now"…
